Alkali Metals | a series of chemical elements forming Group 1 (IUPAC style) of the periodic table: lithium (Li), sodium (Na), potassium (K), rubidium (Rb), caesium (Cs), and francium (Fr).

Alkaline Earth Metals | a series of elements comprising Group 2 (Group IIA) of the periodic table: beryllium, magnesium , calcium , strontium , barium and radium.

Halogens | a series of nonmetal elements from Group 17.

Noble Gases | a group of chemical elements with very similar properties: under standard conditions, they are all odourless, colourless, monoatomic gases, with a very low chemical reactivity.

Review the information in the table. When you are ready to quiz yourself you can hide individual columns or the entire table. Then you can click on the empty cells to reveal the answer. Try to recall what will be displayed before clicking the empty cell.
