| Scale Copy | "Same shape different size"
A figure where all lengths have been adjusted using the same scale factor, and angles DO NOT change.

| Scale Factor | The number used to MULTIPLY the lengths of a figure to make a scale copy. A fancy ratio of copy:original

| Scale Copy Equation | scale copy = original * scale factor (multiplied)

| Scale Factor Equation | scale factor = scale copy/original (divided)

| Corresponding Parts | Parts that are in the same position in relation to the rest of the figure. They can be points, segments, or angles.

| Scale factor is greater than 1 | The copy will be larger

| Scale factor equal to 1 | The copy will be the same size

| Scale factor less than 1 | The copy will be smaller

| Going backwards from copy to original, what do I do with the scale factor? | You use the recipricol aka you FLIP the fraction.

Review the information in the table. When you are ready to quiz yourself you can hide individual columns or the entire table. Then you can click on the empty cells to reveal the answer. Try to recall what will be displayed before clicking the empty cell.
To hide a column, click on the column name.
To hide the entire table, click on the "Hide All" button.
You may also shuffle the rows of the table by clicking on the "Shuffle" button.
Or sort by any of the columns using the down arrow next to any column heading.
If you know all the data on any row, you can temporarily remove it by tapping the trash can to the right of the row.
