Definition
Divide   splitting a quantity into smaller, equal groups.

Denominator   the number written below the line in a fraction. It tells how many parts there are in the whole.

Whole Number   any counting number, but no fractions or decimals.

Numerator   the top number in a fraction. It tells how many parts of the whole there are.

Algorithm   a process or set of rules to be followed in calculations or other problem-solving operations.

Inverse Operation   the operation that reverses the effect of another operation.  
🗑
Reciprocal   what to multiply a value by to get 1 - if you flip the numerator and denominator you get the reciprocal.

Invert   to turn upside down.  
🗑
Simplify   to write something in its shortest and simplest form.
