🗑
Limiting reactant   The reactant in a chemical reaction that limits the amount of product that can be formed.
🗑
Percent composition   The percent composition of a component in a compound is the percent of the total mass of the compound that is due to that component.
🗑
Combustion   the process of burning something.
🗑
Mole ratio   ratio between the amounts in moles of any two compounds involved in a chemical reaction. Mole ratios are used as conversion factors between products and reactants in many chemistry problems.
🗑
Stoichiometry   used to determine the amount of products/reactants that are produced/needed in a given reaction. Describing the quantitative relationships among substances as they participate in chemical reactions is known as reaction stoichiometry.
🗑
Synthesis   combination or composition, in particular.
🗑
Double displacement   a type of chemical reaction where two compounds react, and the positive ions (cation) and the negative ions (anion) of the two reactants switch places, forming two new compounds or products.

Review the information in the table. When you are ready to quiz yourself you can hide individual columns or the entire table. Then you can click on the empty cells to reveal the answer. Try to recall what will be displayed before clicking the empty cell.

To hide a column, click on the column name.

To hide the entire table, click on the "Hide All" button.

You may also shuffle the rows of the table by clicking on the "Shuffle" button.

Or sort by any of the columns using the down arrow next to any column heading.
