Mean   add up all of the data numbers.| Divide by the number of things.| This is the mean.

Mode   Put the numbers in order from lowest to highest.| Then find the number that is repeated the most. This is the mode.

Range   Subtract the lowest number from the highest number. This is the range.

Outlier   Look at the data set.| Ask: What does not belong?| This is the outlier.

Average   add up all data numbers. Divide by number of things. This is the Average.

Independent Variable   An independent variables is a variable that represents a quantity. It is the thing that id different between two things.

Dependent Variable   A dependent variable represents a quantity whose value depends on the independent variables.
