Factor   Factors are numbers you can multiply together to get another number

Multiple   The result of multiplying a number by an integer (not by a fraction).

Fraction   Part of a whole.

Numerator   The top number in a fraction. Shows how many parts we have.

Denominator   The bottom number in a fraction. Shows how many equal parts the item is divided into

Reciprocal   Another name for Reciprocal. When you multiply a number by its "Multiplicative Inverse" you get 1.

Inverse (invert)   Opposite in effect. The reverse of.

Divisor   The number you divide by

Mixed Numbers   A whole number and a fraction combined into one "mixed" number.

Product   The answer when two or more numbers are multiplied together.

Quotient   The answer after you divide one number by another

GCF   The highest number that divides exactly into two or more numbers.

LCD   The smallest number that can be used for all denominators of 2 or more fractions:
