Quiz yourself by thinking what should be in each of the black spaces below before clicking on it to display the answer.
        Help!

Term
Definition
Integers   whole numbers and their opposites {...,-2, -1, 0, 1, 2, ...}
🗑
Whole Numbers   0, 1, 2, 3, ...
🗑
Multiplying Integers   if the signs are the same ( - and - ) or (+ and +), the product is positive. If the signs are different (+ and -), the product is negative
🗑
Dividing Integers   if the signs are the same ( - and - ) or (+ and +), the product is positive. If the signs are different (+ and -), the product is negative
🗑
Adding Decimals   line up the decimals, attach zeroes so all numbers are written to the same place value, then add.
🗑
Subtracting Decimals   line up the decimals, attach zeroes so all numbers are written to the same place value, then subtract.
🗑
Multiplying Decimals   multiply normally, ignoring the decimal points. Then, put the decimal point in the answer - the number of decimal places in the answer is the sum of the decimal places in the factors
🗑
Dividing Decimals - only the dividend is a decimal   bump the decimal up to the quotient bar and divide
🗑
Dividing Decimals - the divisor is a decimal   move the decimal point over until the divisor is a whole number. Move the decimal point over in the dividend the same number of places and divide.
