Radical Sign   The sign placed before an expression to denote that the square root is to be extracted

Terminating Decimal   A decimal number that has digits that do not go on forever

Repeating Decimal   A number whose decimal representation eventually becomes periodic (the same sequence of digits repeats indefinitely)
