How does Nuclear charge affect Ionisation Energy?   As the proton number increases, the greater the nuclear charge, the greater the attraction

How does Electron Shielding affect Ionisation Energy?   The more shells, the inner shells repel the outer shells, making it easier to remove electrons

How does Atomic Radius affect Ionisation energy?   Further from the nucleus, means there is less attraction between the protons and electrons

Why do successive ionisation energies increase slightly?   Because as electrons are removed from the atom, the atom get slightly smaller, because there is stronger attraction from the nucleus, and the electrons are pulled in?
