|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| A stationary point or object that helps determine if another object is in motion | Point of Reference
🗑
| The total length of the route an object travels when it moves | Distance
🗑
| Includes the distance between the starting and ending points and the direction in which you travel | Displacement
🗑
| The distance traveled divided by the time taken to travel the distance | Speed
🗑
| Distance/Time | Speed Equation
🗑
| Found by dividing the total distance traveled by the time taken | Average Speed
🗑
| The speed of an object at one instant of time | Instantaneous Speed
🗑
| A graph used to compare the speeds of objects | Distance Time Graph
🗑
| The speed of the object and direction of its motion | Velocity
🗑
| A measure of how difficult it is to stop a moving object; equals the product of mass and velocity | Momentum
