food chain | The path that energy thakes from producers to consumers to decomposers. |
food web | Overlapping food chains. |
herbivores | Animals that eat plants. |
carnivores | Animals that eat other animals. |
omnivores | Animals that eat both plants and other animals. |
predators | Animals that hunt other animals. |
prey | An animal that is hunted. |
scavengers | Animals that feed on dead animals. |
