How would you find the mode for a set of numbers? | Find the number that is repeated the most in the set of numbers. Example: 26, 37, 41, 29, 26, 40. Since 26 is listed more than all the other numbers. 26 is the MODE. |
What is the mathematica process for finding range? | Find the largest number in the set and subtract the smalles number. The answer will be the range.Example: 26, 37, 41, 29. Largest number is 29 - 26 smallest number = the range 3. The RANGE is 3. |
How would you find the median for a set of numbers? | The median is the middle number, so list the numbers in order by value (least to greatest) and the middle number will be the median. Example set: 4, 6, 8, 9, 15. MEDIAN is 8. |
