Statistical Concept2

Explain the process.

What is the mathematica process for finding mean? Add the numbers in the set and divide by the number of addends. Example Set: 2,5,5,6,7,First ADD 2+5+5+6+7=25, then DIVIDE 25 divided by 5 = 5. The MEAN is 5.
How would you find the mode for a set of numbers? Find the number that is repeated the most in the set of numbers. Example: 26, 37, 41, 29, 26, 40. Since 26 is listed more than all the other numbers. 26 is the MODE.
What is the mathematica process for finding range? Find the largest number in the set and subtract the smalles number. The answer will be the range.Example: 26, 37, 41, 29. Largest number is 29 - 26 smallest number = the range 3. The RANGE is 3.
How would you find the median for a set of numbers? The median is the middle number, so list the numbers in order by value (least to greatest) and the middle number will be the median. Example set: 4, 6, 8, 9, 15. MEDIAN is 8.
