Precipitation | The process of raining which can in the form hail, sleet or snow |
Evaporation | When water is evaporated into the coluds and go fromliquid to gas |
Transform | When two plates scrape up against each other, causing great amounts of frictionand possibly earthquakes |
Converging | When two plates collide and can possibly form mountains |
Diverging | When two plates separate and trenches may be formed. |
Mantle plume | A rising column of molten lava, causing intense and localised volcanism which can also cause a series of small islands |

Richter scale | An instrument used to measure the size of an earthquake |
Physical weathering | Rock being broken up without the minerals in it changing |
Chemical weathering | When the minerals are changedby chemical reaction |
