Photopupillary reflex | reflex constriction of pupils when they are exposed to bright light |
refraction | light bending |
aqueous humor | fluid in the anterior segment that provides nutrients to the lens and cornea |
sclera | the "white" of the eye |
optic disk | area of retina that lacks photoreceptors |
retina | layer containg the rods and cones |
vitreous humor | gel-like substance that helps to reinforce the eyeball |
choroid | nutritive (vascular) layer of the eye |
Cornea | most anterior part of the sclera- your window world |
iris | pigmented "diaphragm" of the eye |
