Question | Answer |
Newtons 2nd law | Pushing or pulling an object produces acceleration, a change in the speed of motion. |
Mass | A measure of how much matter is in an object. |
Force | In physics, force is a push or pull on an object. A force can cause an object to accelerate, slow down, remain in place, or change shape. |
Acceleration | Acceleration is a way to measure how fast something is speeding up. |
Proportional | When two quantities always have the same size in relation to each other. In other words they have the same ratio. |
Inversely Proportional | related so that as one becomes larger the other becomes smaller |
Newtons 3rd law | there is an equal and opposite reaction |
Force Vector | Force vector is a numerical value in a specific direction, and is used in both math and physics |
Friction | Friction is a force that holds back the movement of a sliding object. |
