Respiration | The process of using oxygen to breakdown glucose to release usable energy. |
Transpiration | The process were plants are releasing water though stomata. |
Producers | A living thing that makes it's own food from air, sunlight, and soil. Green plants are this who make food in their leaves. |
Consumer | A living thing that can't make it's own food. They get their energy by eating food. |
Decomposer | A living thing that gets energy by breaking down dead plants and animals. |
Predator | An animal that hunts and eats another animal. |
Prey | An animal that is hunted and eaten. |
Herbivore | A consumer that eats only plants. |
Carnivore | A consumer that eats only animals. |
Omnivore | A consumer that eats both plants and animals. |
