meteorologist | a person that studies weather |
station model | when meteorologists gather data from earths surface and record it on a map using symbols |
isotherm | a line that connects points of equal temperatures |
isobar | a line that connects points of equal atmospheric pressure |
cold front | the boundary of an advancing mass of cold air |
warm front | the boundary of an advancing mass of warm air |
occluded front | a composite front produced by occlusion. |
stationary front | a boundary between two different air masses |
