Cell Membrane | Some things get in some things don't.(selectively permeable) |
Nucleus | Control center of the cell. All the genetic information is in here. |
Nuclear Envelope | Protects and is also selectively permeable |
Nuclear Pore | Allows bigger things into or out of the nucleus. |
Nucleolus | Stores the information for making RNA. |
Chromatin | Uncoiled DNA |
Cytoplasm | Jelly like substance and it gives the cell its shape. |
Mitochondrion | Powerhouse of the cell |
Golgi Complex | Packaging and shipping. |
Centriole | Used when the cell divides. |
Microtuble | Cellular highway, moves places from one thing to another. |
Microfilament | Looks like a piece of string, makes up the cells skeleton. (cytoskeleton) |
Ribosome | Makes proteins. |
Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum | Surface is rough with ribosomes,and is a protein factory. |
Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum | Makes fats. |
Vacuole | Storage unit. |
Lysosome | Janitors, if something breaks they dissolve it. |
