Tide | daily rising and falling in a regular cycle of Earth's waters, at high tide waves hit farther up the beach than at low tide. |

Barrier Islands | a small island along a coastline formed by deposition.Barrier islands protect the coastlines. Their shape always changes. Ex:Hilton Head |
Inlets | Constantly change over time. openings between barrier islands and tides change water level and salinity. |
