Term | Definition |
Heart | Strong muscle that pumps constantly. The muscle pumps blood to every cell to deliver nutrients and oxygen. |
Blood | purple blobs are the nuclei of white blood cells. Red blood cells are tiny to fit into small blood cells. Skeletal muscles can relay the bones. |
Artery and Vein | it is a hallow round thick wall that are layers of muscles. Arteries carry blood away from the heart. Veins carry blood to the heart. |
Red Blood Cells | carries oxygen to every cell in your body. They also have no organs. They are made in bone marrow. |
Platelets | It helps in the clotting process, clots of blood. It is also made in bone marrow. |
White Blood Cells | They fight infections. They are made in Bone Marrow. |
Plasma | It is a yellowish liquid that carries nutrients, hormones and proteins throughout your body. Plasma is mostly made of water. |
