Studying 15 minutes times 4 days = 2 hours of studying! | Leave a few study cards where you will see and use them often such as on the dinner table / in the bathroom / in the car / etc. |
Quiz a parent. It is more engaging, and just as effective as a parent quizzing you! | Start a study group with one or more friends. |
Writing and drawing to study is much more effective then reading to study. | Spend as much time on homework and studying as you do on screen time! |
Changing subjects often has been proven to be an effective study strategy. | Check out library books related to what you are trying to learn. Historical fiction is a great way to help you learn history. |
Study cards with the 0/1 system - study until the cards have five tally marks. | Rewrite information in a different form. Change a graph to a paragraph. Change a paragraph to a chart or drawing. |
Set time goals to study or do homework. Reward yourself with a short break when you reach a goal. (example: on focus for 20 minutes) | Teach it to a younger sibling. |
