| Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome | A disease caused by the human immunodeficiency virus |
| Allergy | Also known as hypersensitivity, this is an overreaction of the immune system to otherwise harmless agents |
| Anemia | This condition is a reduction of the oxygen-carrying capacity of the blood, a disease in erythrocytes, or a reduced amount of functional hemoglobin in the blood |
| Aneurysm | A weakened section of a blood vessel wall |
| Arteriosclerosis | A group of arterial diseases characterized by a thickening and loss of elasticity, which leads to a hardening of the arterial walls |

| Telangiectasia | A permanent dilation of superficial capillaries or small blood vessels commonly affecting the face |
| Varicose Veins | Dilated veins resulting from incompetent valves; these veins lose elasticity and become stretched and flabby |
