Question
Answer
What are fluids? Give 3 examples   Materials that have no fixed shape and are free to flow. ex Oxygen, blood, water
🗑
What is flow rate?   Flow rate measure of how quickly fluids move.
🗑
How is flow rate measured?   It is measured in volume per unit time.
🗑
what is cohesion?   Cohesion is a measure of how strongly the particles of a fluid attract each other.
🗑
What is adhesion?   Adhesion is the attraction between one particle substances and a other particle substances.
🗑
What is viscosity?   Viscosity is the measure of how easily the a fluid`s particles can slide past on and other.
🗑
Why is eddy important to kayaker's?   Eddy`s are important to kayakers because it gives them a place to rest from the high turbulent flow.
🗑
What are the 2 types of flow.   The 2 types of flow is laminar flow and turbulent flow. Laminar flow is a smooth pattern of flow. Turbulent flow is an irregular, mixing flow pattern.
🗑
What liquid would have a higher flow rate. Soya sauce or molasses.   Molasses would have a higher flow rate because its viscosity is higher so it takes long for the particles to slide past on and other. That`s why molasses would have a higher flow rate.
🗑

Review the information in the table. When you are ready to quiz yourself you can hide individual columns or the entire table. Then you can click on the empty cells to reveal the answer. Try to recall what will be displayed before clicking the empty cell.

To hide a column, click on the column name.

To hide the entire table, click on the "Hide All" button.

You may also shuffle the rows of the table by clicking on the "Shuffle" button.

Or sort by any of the columns using the down arrow next to any column heading.
If you know all the data on any row, you can temporarily remove it by tapping the trash can to the right of the row.
