epiglottis   Covers the larynx when you swallow to make sure that food goes down the esophagus only.

vitamins D and K   Absorbed by the body even if they are not in any food that is eaten. Vitamin D can be made by the body through sunlight hitting the skin, and vitamin K is made by bacteria in the large intestine.
