Define environmental science and compare environmental science with ecology.   Environmental science is an interdisciplinary science, which means that it involves many fields of study. However, Ecology is they study of interactions of living organisms with one another and with their environment.

Describe the major environmental effects of hunter-gatherers, the agricultural revolution, and the Industrial Revolution.   Hunter-gatherers would burn the prairies to prevent trees from growing so they could hunt buffalo and bison. During the Agricultural revolution humans started raising crops and livestock. This allowed humans to live closer together thus enabling the populations to grow more rapidly. The industrial Revolution introduced the use of fossil fuels which in turn enable wider human movement and also pollution.

Distinguish between renewable and nonrenewable resources.

Classify environmental problems into three major categories.
