Definition of a Disabling Casualty   Makes boat not serviceable; Must RTB or go to safe haven. Immediatley place in Charlie status and report to Operational commander in no later then 12 hours. If repairs are unable to be fixed w/in 48 hours & send out a CASREP with in 24 hours.

Definition of a Restrictive Casualty   Restrict operation of boat from performing all missions safely. If cannot be repaired in 1 hour place in charlie & notify operational commander, he can grant a waiver. If problem can not be fixed with in 48 hours Send out a CASREP.

Definition of a Major Casualty   Those that degrade the effectiveness of the boat to perform one or more missions. They shall be documented and corrected ASAP for the operational commander. He is responsible for monitering the status.

Definition of a Minor Casualty   Boat and crew readiness is not affected, nor impaired but boat does not meet standards. they shall be documented and corrected ASAP. The CO/OINC is responsible for monitering the status of repairs.
