Evaporation   process in which a liquid changes to a gas and you must have the heat of the sun for this to happen! Most of Earth’s water is evaporated from the oceans.

Condensation   the process in which a gas is changed to a liquid. This process forms clouds. As water vapor goes into the air, it cools and forms a cloud.

Precipitation   any form of liquid water particles (rain, snow, sleet, hail)

Run-Off   water that is not absorbed into the Earth and runs off the surface of the Earth.
