        Help!

Question
Answer
Parietal eminence   sort of obvious where this is – it is the more circular part of the parietal bone that feels like an eminence, sort of in the middle going horizontally across the bone, closer to the bottom going vertically
🗑
Superior temporal line and inferior temporal line   continued from frontal bone
🗑
Parietal foramen   not always present, located close to the sagittal suture near lambda – sort of towards the posterior of the sagittal suture
🗑
Parietal striae   these are “rays” or striations that are located near the beveled edge of the parietal bone
🗑
Meningeal grooves   same as before, located on endocranial surface
🗑
Sulcus for the sigmoid (transverse sinus)   located on posterior suture (sigmoid? Suture) in the corner that connects with the beveled edge – only a very small portion of it is visible on the parietal bone
🗑
Channel (sulcus) for the superior sagittal sinus   continues from frontal – runs along the midline suture between the two parietals –difficult to see as it is cut off
🗑
Arachnoid foveae (granular foveae)   run along sagittal sulucs
🗑
