Nonrenewable Resource   Any natural resource from the Earth that exists in limited supply and cannot be replaced if it is used up; also it cannot be replenished by natural means as quickly as it is used

Inexhaustible   An energy source that cannot be depleted

Biomass   A renewable resource that comes from living things that can be burned to release energy (wood)

Coal   A brown/black combustible sedimentary rock formed from plant remains over millions of years.

Geothermal   An energy source from the heat inside the earth

Hydropower   Power created from moving water (like a dam or waterfall)

Natural Gas   A mixture of hydrocarbon gases that is used as a fuel and in the manufacture of organic compounds
