One teach, one support   One teacher plans and provides instruction while the other teacher moves throughout the room offering individual support

Parallel Teaching   Both teachers plan together but split the classroom into two groups to provide instruction

Station Teaching   The classroom is divided into various learning centers with each teacher at one center; some centers are independent practice while both teachers provide small group instruction

Alternative Teaching   One teacher provides instruction to most of the class while the other provides instruction in a small group setting

Team Teaching   Planning and instruction is provided by both teachers taking turns to provide instruction

accomodation   instruction and requirements on assignments remain the same, but supports are in place to deliver instruction such as more time on assignments or tests read orally

modification   instruction and requirements on assignments are changed usually into smaller portions or to a lower standard

inclusion   delivering instruction to special needs students in the general education classroom

instructional technology   technology that aids in delivering instruction to students

assistive technology   technology that is used to accommodate a student based on their individual needs; technology such as speech to text, computer aided instruction, braille keyboards, etc.
