Elastic Potential Energy (epe)   Potential energy that is associated with objects that can be compressed or stretched.

Mechanical Energy   The form of energy associated with the motion, position, and shape of an object.

Sound Energy   A disturbance that travels through a medium as a wave.

Nuclear Energy   Energy that is stored in the nucleus of an atom

Thermal Energy   The total kinetic and potential energy of the particles in an object.

Electromagnetic Energy   A form of energy that travels through space in waves.

The Law of Conservation of Energy   The law that states that when one form of energy is transformed to another, no energy is lost in the process.
