Nerves

        Help!

Question
Answer
nerve
from sacral plexus, exits pelvis through the greater sciatic foramen, exits gluteal region between ischial tuberosity and greater trochanter   travels down posterior thigh innervating hamstrings and posterior part of adductor magnus, divides at popliteal fossa into tibial and common peroneal nerves   sciatic (L4-S3)
🗑
branches off the sciatic nerve at the popliteal fossa, travels down the posteror surface of the tibia with tibialis posterior, wraps posterior and inferior to the medial malleolus   travels through the tarsal tunnel into the plantar surface of the foot, supplies th posterior compartment of the leg (soleus, gastrocnemius, plantaris, popliteus, flexor digitorum longus, flexor hallucis longus, tibialis posterior)   tibial (L4-S3)
🗑
branches off the sciatic nerve at the popliteal fossa, travels medial to the biceps femoris tendon passing over the head of the fibula and wrapping anteriorly around the neck of the fibula splitting into superficial and deep branches   superficial peroneal continues down the lateral aspect of the fibula innervating the lateral compartment of the leg, deep peroneal nerve continues down the shaft of the tibia crossing anterior to the ankle and innervates the anterior compartment of the le   common peroneal (l4-s2)
🗑
banch of the lumbar plexus, emerges from the lateral border of psoar major, passes deep tot he inguinal ligament into the anterior thigh   travels through the femoral triangle, supplies the flexors of the hip and sartorius and pectineus   femoral (l2-l4)
🗑
branch of the lumbar plexus, emerges from the medial border of psoas major, passes through the obturator foramen to the medial thigh   supplies the adductors, gracilis and obturator externus   obturator (l2-L4)
🗑
from brachial plexus, travels through upper arm and through cubital fossa, enters forearm between the two heads of pronator teres,   travels through carpal tunnel into the hand, supplies flexors and pronator muscles of the forearm and thenar eminence   median (c5-c7)
🗑
from brachial plexus, travels under pectoralis minor into the arm, runs posterior to the medial epicondyle between the epiconyle and olecrannon process   travels down medial forearm deep to flexor carpi ulnaris, travels through the tunnel of gyon into the hand, supplies flexor carpi ulnaris, hypthenar eminence, adductor pollicis, intrinsic hand muscles   ulnar (c8-t1)
🗑
from brachial plexus, travels down posterior arm, winds around humerus to the lateral side and travels into anterior arm, travels through cubital fossa and crosses the supinator and travels down lateral forearm branching into the dorsal hand   supplies brachioradialis, supinator, the extensors of the elbow, wrist, and hand   radial (c5-t1)
🗑
from the brachial plexus, penerates the coracobrachialis and passes between biceps brachii and brachialis as it moves across the anteror arm   innervates coracobrachialis, biceps brachii and brachialis   musculocutaneous (c5-c7)
🗑
from the brachial plexus, lies anterior to the subscapularis, passes laterally through the axilla wrapping around the neck of the humerus   supplies the deltoid and teres minor   axillary (c5-c6)
