Precipitation   Rain/snow falling from clouds high up in the sky

Run Off   Water runs down off the land into rivers, lakes and oceans.

Evaporation   Water evaporates into water vapour when it is warmed by the sun. It evaporates from the land, sea, lakes and rivers.

Condensation   The water vapour condenses into tiny water droplets in the clouds. That get bigger and bigger until they are heavy and they fall towards the earth a precipitation

Transpiration   water evaporates from the plants and water is pulled up into the roots of the plants.
