the temperature keeps constant ungless it releases heat through enlarged blood vessels in the skin aka radiation and narrows blood vessels when body is conserving heat

TOP LAYER: it contains dead and living cells; the dead cells form a protect coveing and are removed when you remove clothes, skin is rubbed or bathed.outer layer is replaced once a month lipids make the skin water proof.
