What is the method of action for NSAIDs Inhibit the action of COX (cyclooxygenase) and it decreases prostaglandin synthesis (prostaglandins involved in pain & inflammation).
What is an analgesic? Relieves pain.

What is antipyretic? Relieves fever
What are the common adverse reactions from NSAIDs? GI upset GI ulcers GI bleeding Fluid retention (this can lead to hypertension)

What are the common doses of Advil/Motrin/ibuprofen? Common dose of ibuprofen is 200-800mg every 4 to 6 hours as needed. The max dose is 3200mg per day.
What is the maximum daily dose of ibuprofen? Max daily dose of ibuprofen is 3200mg per day.
What are the strengths of Ansaid/flurbiprofen tablets? flurbiprofen tablets are 50mg and 100mg.
What are the strengths of Clinoril/sulindac tablets? sulindac tablets are 150mg and 200mg
