Front | A boundary between two air masses of different density, moisture, or temperature. |
Tornado | Violently rotating column of air in contact with the ground. |
Hurricane | The most powerful storm, large swirling low-pressure that forms over the Atlantic ocean. |
Blizzard | Winds are 56km/h, the temperature is low, the visibility is less than 400m in falling in blowing snow, and this persists for 3 hours. |

Station Model | Shows the weather conditions at a specific location on earths surface. |
Isotherm | Line that connects points of equal temperatures. |
Isobar | Line that connects points of equal atmospheric pressure. |
Occluded Front | (Purple triangles and semicircles) are three air masses of different temperatures: Colder air, Cool air, and Warm air. |
Stationary Front | (Red semicircles, and Blue triangles) is when a boundary of air masses stops advancing. |
Cold Front | (Blue Triangles) Occurs when colder air advances towards warm air |
Warm Front | (Red Semicircles) Lighter, Warmer air advances over heavier, colder air |
