Read-Only memory (ROM) | This memory is permanet information on your computer. ROM holds your computer's built-in instructions and cannot be erased or changed. |
Storage Device | Is file you move the information from RAM to a storage device. |
Software | Is a set of insturctions that makes it possivle for your computer to perform task. |
Operating system (OS) | Is the main program that makes your computer work. |
Network | Is a group of computers connected together. |
Drive | The largest storage are. |
Folder | Is the place to save and organize files, such as documents or pictures |
File | Is the collection of data. |
Save As | This lets you rename a file and, at the same time, copy the file by saving it to a new location. |
Shortcut | Is the icon that is a direct link to a file or folder. |
Keyword | Is a word (or words) keyed into a search box that matchesthe topic you are looking for. |
Content Search | Looks for information from a list of categories and topics. |
Keyword Search | Key one or more keywords. |
