What must happen at the end of a mystery? The mystery is solved
What is an observation? An experience using at least one of your five senses
Give 2 examples of an observation (Optional Answers, remember point out the obvious and only what you actually can see) 1. Harry Potter wears glasses. 2. Mrs. Redmon has purple hair.
What is an inference? An educated guess based on an observation
Give 2 examples of an inference. (optional answers, remember, just make a small jump from your observation) 1. Jim has a picture of a skateboard on his shirt, so he must like to skateboard. 2. Everything in Mrs. Redmon's classroom is red, red must be her favorite color.
