What is the characteristic of any fraction that is equal to 1? The top & the bottom have the same value.
When can you cancel #s or units while multiplying fractions? Like #s &/or like units. Any top to any bottom.
How do you know how many significant digits to round a calculated answer? You look at the original measurements and count up the # of significant digits. The answer must be rounded to the same # of significant digits as the original measurement with the least # of significant digits.
What is the proper form for scientific notation? 1 non-zero digit - decimal - other significant digits x 10 to some power.
In Scientific Notation does the exponent become larger or smaller when you move the decimal to the left? Larger
