QuestionAnswer
Digital camera Cameras that are capable of inputting data into a computer instead of onto film.
Web cam A tiny camera that sits on (or is part of) the computer and feeds video directly to the computer.
Classroom response system aka Clicker A handheld device that resembles a TV remote that allows students to respond to questions posed by the teacher.
Resolution Defines the clarity of the image that is seen on the computer screen.
Printer Device that outputs data after is has been processed in what is called a hard copy, or a readable, permanent copy.
USB drive Provide great flexibility in mobile storage devices, like flash drives.
Touch screens Allows direct selection or operation by touching the appropriate area of the screen.
Keyguards Hard plastic covers with holes for each key.
Braille translator A software product that converts text, either obtained by scanning or produced by a word processor, into Braille.
Processor speed This is expressed in megahertz (Mhz.
Byte 8 bits makes this.
Memory unit Allows storage of information, is internal to the computer, and is divided into two types of memory.
RAM Temporary memory that is designed to hold new data and is available only while the computer is turned on.
ROM Permanent internal memory inside the system that stores the instructions installed or programmed at the manufacturer.
Keyboard Input device that offer the input of alhabetic and numeric information, as well as additional operational and input keys.
