All about Brains

QuestionAnswer
When you go to sleep, your eyes close and you think your whole body is asleep, is your brain asleep? No,because if your brain went to sleep then you would not have any control over yourself and you may even stop breathing.
Does your brain need lots of water to work well? Yes,if the brain does not get enough water, then you can get very bad headaches. If the brain does not get water for 3 days, you will die.
Does the brain still work while you are asleep? Yes, the brain helps you breathe, keep your eyes shut, relax, and stay still- the brain is just like your control centre.
What does the brain feel like? It feels squishy and mushy, its soft because it needs to be able to fit in your head. If your head grows, your brain just grows and fits into the new space.
Does blood go through the brain? Yes, lots of blood runs through the brain because if blood did not run through the brain then your brain would die and so would you.
What happens if you damage your head very badly? If you do damage your head very badly then you will probably get brain damage. Brain damage is when your brain does not work properly and you have lots of problems.
