The core is the thinnest and lightest layer of Earth. True or False. False . It is the Innermost sphere of the Earth. It is also the most dense.
What is the crust of Earth? Outermost, thinnest , and lightest layer of Earth.
What is Earth science? All science that researches Earth and space. This includes geology, oceanography, meteorology and astronomy.
What is Earth system science? Examines Earth as systems comprised of working parts, or subsystems.
What does the environment include? Everything that surrounds and impacts and organism.
What is geology the study of? Geology is the study of Earth- physical and historical. Physical examines materials composing Earth . Historical looks at the origin and development of Earth over time.

What is a hypothesis? An untested explanation.
What is the lithosphere include? The rocky layeer of crust and uppermost mantle. Underneath, rocks become weak and move in response to heat.
What is the mantle? Middle sphere, less dense than core. Has lower and upper regions.
What does meterology study? The atmosphere and processes that result in weather and climate.
