Protractor An instrument used to measure angles
Angle A plane figure formed by 2 rays with a common endpoint
Side/Ray A part of a line or angle that has one endpoint and can go on forever in one direction
Vertex The common endpoint of 2 rays in an angle, of 2 line segments in a pollygon, or 3 or more edges in a solid figure
Interor Point On the inside of an angle
Exterior Point On the outside of an angle
Degrees A unit to measure angles and temprature
Parallel Lines that do not intersect
Skew Lines that do not intersectm are not in the same plane, and are not parallel
Perpendicular Lines that intersect to form right angles
Congruent The same size and shape
Right Angle An angle that measures 90*
Acute Angle An angle that measures less than 90*
Obtuse Angle An angle that measures more than 90*
Straight Angle 180* angle
