General Jackson's invasion on Spain In 1818 President James Monroe sent Andrew Jackson to Georgia to end the raids. Jackson was told that he could chase raiding Seminoles into Florida but he didnt with 1,700 troops. He captured almost every militart post in the colony
What was the Banking Crisis The bank was partly owned by federal gov. and its deposits. Andrew Jackson had to renew the bank. The bank only gave money to the rich people. If he renewed the democrats wouldn't vote for him. He later tool the money and put it in state banks
