positive work ethic Working as hard as you can while on the job.
time management You must always be on time everyday to work.
Behavior Immature behaviors, ignoring the rules, and an attitude is not tolerated in the workplace.
Manners Showing good manners and being friendly helps a good work environment.
Enthusiasm It is needed to show a want and a need to be at work, making sure to show your boss and co-workers that you appreciate your job.
Focus Focusing on your job and the skills is needed to continue doing the job.
Paying attention Always do the work the way the boss wants, and listen to their directions!
Go the extra mile Work as hard as you can, because it will pay off!
Excuses, whining Whining, making excuses, and blaming others show a lack of care to the job. There is no excuse for any of these behaviors!
Responsibility Taking responsibility for a mistake shows the employer that you understand what you did wrong and you will learn from it.
Honesty Breaking promises, avoiding work, and repeatedly calling in absent are examples of dishonesty. The boss can see this as wasting their time.
Professionalism Courtesy, friendliness, and concern for the job.
Dress appropriately Bosses judge their employees by how they dress. Neatness, grooming, and following the rules of dress for the company shows the boss you care.
Talking appropriately Slang, inappropriate jokes, and swearing are OFF LIMITS at the job. Respect your co-workers and the customers!
