Phrasal verbs - out (2): producing things (in large amounts)

QuestionAnswer
One way to learn phrasal verbs is by organizing them by particles. The particles which appear with phrasal verbs often have their own general meaning, which can help you understand the meaning of the whole verb.
'Out' can be used with verbs to express the idea of producing things, especially when they are produced quickly and in large amounts.
churn sth <-> out ----- [She churns out romantic novels at the rate of three a year.] ----- Warner Brothers Pictures has continued to dominate Hollywood, churning out blockbusters like the Harry Potter series and "Scooby-Doo".] [often disapproving] to produce large quantities of sth quickly, especially without caring about quality
pour out; pour sth <-> out ----- [Black smoke poured out of the engine.] ----- [People poured out through the gates.] to come out or to produce sth from somewhere in large amounts or numbers ----- RELATED WORD: 'outpouring [countable] a large amount of sth that is produced in a short time ----- [an outpouring of creative energy/new ideas/support etc.]
pour out; pour sth <-> out ----- [She poured out her troubles to me over a cup of coffee.] ----- [All her feelings of resentment (= a feeling of anger or unappiness about sth that you think is unfair) just came pouring out.] when feelings/words/reactions pour out or sb pours them out, they are expressed, often after they have been kept hidden for some time ----- RELATED WORD: 'outpouring [countable] an expression of strong feelings ----- [an outpouring of anger/outrage]
turn sth <-> out ----- [The factory turns out 200 washing machines a day.] ----- [The schools has turned out several well-known engineers.] to produce sb/sth
spill out (of, from) (into) ----- [The crowd spilled out into the street.] if people spill out of a place, a lot of them leave at the same time and spread out ----- MEMORY HOOK: spill - to accidentally flow out of a container ----- [He slipped and the wine spilled all over the carpet.]
