Pythagorean Theorem


Square Root A number that can be multiplied by itself to make a perfect square.
Square A number that is made by the same number being multiplied by itself.
Pythagorean Theorem A formula used to find the length of a side of a right triangle.
Right Angle An angle that is 90 degrees.
Inverse Operation The opposite math terms.
Hypotenuse The side that is opposite the right angle in a triangle.
Legs The two sides of a right triangle that connect at the right angle.
Rational Number A number that ends or repeats. (Think in decimal form.)
Irrational Number A number that never ends. (Think in decimal form.)
