What is the formula?Formula
Area of a triangle is... A = 1/2 the base times the height
The measurement of a right angle is ... 90 degrees
The measurement of an acute angle is ... greater than zero and less than 90 degrees
The measurement of an obtuse angle is ... greater than 90 degrees and less than 180 degrees
The Area of a rectangle A = lw
The Perimeter of a rectangle P = 2l + 2w
The Area of a square one side squared
The Perimeter of a square 4s
The Pythagorean Theorem the sum of the sides squared equals the hypotenuse squared
The Area of a parallelogram ... A = bh
The Perimeter of a parallelogram ... P = 2l + 2w
The Area of a circle Pi times radius squared ( make sure to square the radius first, then multiply that times Pi)
The Circumference of a circle C = 2 times Pi times r or Pi times diameter
The Volume of a Sphere V = (4/3) times Pi times radius cubed (make sure to cube the radius first)
The Volume of a cylinder Pi times radius squared times height (make sure to square the radius first)
The Volume of a rectangular prism or solid V = lwh
The Surface Area of a rectangular prism or rectangular solid SA = 2lw + 2wh + 2lh
How do we get the measure of each interior angle of a regular polygon (n = number of sides) ( (n-2)/n ) times 180
Slope intercept form of a linear equation y = mx + b
The formula for finding slope m = (y sub 2 - y sub 1) divided by (x sub x divided by x sub 1) or the change in y divided by the change in x
