Reference Books Books refered to for authoriative information.
Dictionary A book that shows spellings, meanings, and pronunciations of words in alphabetical order.
Almanac A book that is published every year and includes brief up-to-date information on a variety of topics.
Atlas A book containing maps and vital statistics relating to geographic regions
Thesaurus A book mainly used to find synonyms for words; this is very useful in adding variety to writing.
Encyclopedia Includes several books, usually each letter (A-Z) is a different volume. Includes pictures and information about almost every single subject, and is useful for researching a subject.
REF Call number for reference books
Biography A book about the life of an individual
